In Minnesotathere was recently an election where there was a recount. In the recount there were numerous charges of voter fraud involving felons. When the recount and investigations were finished the final tally reported by the Republican controlled board was something like 312 votes in favor of the Democratic candidate. In the investigation of the charges of felons illegally registering and voting it was found that most of the charges were people legally registering and voting, but having the same name as convicted felons. Of the few who remained only 6 of them actually voted. If Republicans scream and holler voter fraud about an incident where the result was not changed by the attempt, just why shouldn't Democrats talk about the election fraud that the Republicans committed in 2000 as a reminder?

In other words, don't tell us to suck it up about an election that was stolen, and then scream bloody murder about the actions of a few that are not even enough to change an election as close as 312 votes.

I will never forget that. He said that on March 13, 2002, which was my granddaughter's 7th birthday. I tried to warn people, but no one listened and they ended up putting him back into office. It wasn't hindsight for me, it was real time and almost ruined a great day.

I was watching Obama's visit to the firehouse today and listening to him speak, and Obama referred to Guilanni's saying how appreciative he was of Guilianni's efforts at the time of the attack. Obama wasn't concerned about giving credit to others despite a differing political party or philosophy.

The thought occurred to me of how much of a gentle man President Obama is, and how gracious he was in praising Gulianni in that way. He wasn't there at Ground Zero to toot his own horn or get praise for what he had done.. he was just there to help bring some closure to the survivors of the victims.

Yet I knew that the naysayers like Beck and Dimbaugh and O'Reilly and Palin and many other less deserving were all accusing Obama of just that.... putting on a political show and tooting his own horn. Because that is what they would all do with that opportunity and accomplishment if they had made it, so they put what their own disgusting intentions would have been on Obama.

I also knew that tomorrow or the next day or a week from now, the man Obama praised today, Gulianni will go on the Fox network and trash Obama behind his back... because that is what RepugniCONS always do.

You'll find I carefully word my responses based on facts that are often not disputed, but the response is often predictable... I didn't agree with a lot of what Bush did during his 8 years, but I supported most of his efforts. You guys on the otherhand can't find anything wrong with Obama, which speaks volumes about your integrity and character.. it's unfortunate.

All right, you want facts, let's deal with the facts:

1.) President Obama did not dictate that OBL be given a Mullim burial, it was the military and the NSA.

2.) The right is decrying that OBL was given a 40 minute muslim funeral while the World Trade victims got nada.

3.) The president gave proof of his birth for over two years including a photo of the original with an embossed seal and there are still 25% of Republicans who question his birth.

4.) If 25% of Rep. won't take a photo of his certificate of live birth why in the world would they accept a photograph of OBL dead?

5.) President Clinton was not originally investiated for Sexual misconduct, it was supposed to be about his financial dealings in Arkansas. Nothing could be found illegal so Starr kept digging and shame of shame, Clinton lied about a sexual encounter outside of his marriage. Long way from finances. Right, no, but appologize to his wife, daughter, and Lewinski + family and to U.S. for where it occurred.

John, you obviously don't understand that the military gets their orders from a civil authority - the Commander in Chief, aka the President. So NO, your facts are not good enough for me, because they're incorrect (as usual). Another fact is that Obama never visited NYC and Ground Zero over the past two years until UBL was killed (Remember, "Never let a crisis go to waste" or "Never let a political opportunity go to waste"). You can thank the Muslim sensitive Obama for ordering the military to give UBL the burial rights he received. That's how the military works. I'm a retired veteran and should know.

Aparently you dont know a damn thing. We killed OBL, a mission (except for bush) that we were involved in for 10 yrs. What do you think would have happend if we had desecrated the body? The same thing that happend after the tortures at gitmo, a heavy INCREASE in al- qaida recruitment killing many of OUR heroes. As a retired veteran YOU should know that. Pitiful.

dmcg1, provide a reference with facts that support this ASSumption because it's total BS that the Bush administration "chose to do nothing". You apparently have no idea what US and coalition forces were doing in that area in an attempt to capture UBL. Damn, don't you Progressive ever read or do research? mike, regardless of your political persuasion, do you know how childish it sounds every time you say, "prove it"? Sending troops into Afghanistan to look for a man living in Pakistan is a waste of time and money something Republicans "spout off" they are against. $30 Billion a year is the price tag for Afghanistan...$30 Billion a year out the window. A Republican idea, a Republican waste of money, a Republican loss of life. Don't you ever read or do your research? I guess not, which explains why it is sooooooo easy to manipulate you, my dear man.
