This morning in the Rose Garden President Obama called for 'shared sacrifice' for wealthy Americans and Corporations. The Ed Show agrees and believes 'shared sacrifice' is an important aspect for controlling our debt and deficit going forward. Bill O'Reilly disagrees. Tonight on his show he freaked out in his opening commentary that this "fair share nonsense has got to stop!". O'Reilly claims he is taxed enough already and that if he's taxed anymore he just doesn't know what he'll do.
O'Reilly: If you tax achievement, some of the achievers are going to pack it in. Lets take me. My corporations employ scores of people. They depend on me to do what I do so they can make a nice salary. If Barack Obama begins taxing me more than 50 percent, which is very possible, I don't know how much longer i'm going to do this. I like my job but there comes a point when taxation become oppressive.
You hear that America? You hear that 'the folks'? Bill O'Reilly will feel OPPRESSED if his taxes are raised any higher! (even though his taxes are probably lower than at any point in the last 40 years) He claims he will think about packing it in if his taxes go up! As if anyone needed another reason to support the President's sensible policy of 'shared sacrifice'. We propose you support the President's plan if only to get Bill O'Reilly to pack it in! Maybe he can move his corporations to China! To that end, we're providing a makeshift petition to raise Bill O'Reilly's taxes. Put your name/remarks in the comments section. I completely agree! I never comment on these polls, but I will gladly make an exception in this case. Get Bill-O off TV! He is such a self-absorbed hypocrite and he does nothing but poison anyone who listens to him. I say tax him til he has to live like a normal American, paycheck to paycheck, having to choose between groceries and medication, and not being able to make a simple day trip to visit family because gas is too expensive. Then we'll see if he still thinks that this country needs to built upon the backs of the poor and middle classes.

I am educated and highly skilled but, cannot find a job and these people are complaining about paying their fair share. Mabe the networks should give regular people like us a chance to host one of their shows. I'm sure we would tell it as it happens and not spin it so the facts get cloudy.
