Let me talk about this faith thing. People everywhere tell you your faith is wrong. If your faith is so weak you can't take that, then you have a real problem no matter where you go. What I've found is that more knowledge makes my faith stronger. In fact, it helps me understand that Jesus' teaching in the Gospels tells us that we MUST help the poor. That helps me understand that I have to vote democrat. It also helps me understand that Jesus told us not to usurp his role, standing in judgement of others, so I can live and let live, providing the hope I have without condemnation. It's worked pretty well for me.

If we could get the radical right, small 'c,' "christians," through college, they might have their eyes opened to what Christianity really means. Love, tolerance, forgiveness, and an unquenchable desire to help, "the least of these."

While I did correspondence school for my son with Pensacola Christian Academy and he got his diploma and graduated with class of 500. It was not fanatical that some take to the extremes. I've had it since my first stroke in 2003...

The whole world is constantly bouncing, just a little bit, every half-second or so... It doesn't affect my long view very much, although sniper school is definitely out, but it makes reading regular-sized print a pain... The larger the letters are, the more stable they are. so I always need a magnifying glass to read... Glasses don't help much because the the problem isn't focus-related, it's due to apparent motion...

When I get tired, it becomes harder to keep my eyes in line and I develop diplopia, double vision, with both images swinging together than apart... so, I have to take frequent naps, which is why I disappear from the Vine so often...

India, I wear glasses to am blind as a bat with out them. I have bad astigmatism and a corrective lens . One of my eyes is like football the image comes from the side instead of middle. My eyes get tired and some days I just have stop posting because they burn. But my problems are small compared to Davids. The Librarians must of got a kick out of you when you were little. How many books do you think you have read in your life? Do you read real books or have Kindle?

Have you seen what they've done to women's rights in Texas??!! My God, it's unbelievable! Where are the protesters? Among other things, Planned Parenthood can't accept Medicaid anymore. I can't believe there are people, especially women that are still thinking of voting Republican!

MJB, We lived in Texas for almost 6 yrs. I think the whole state has been turned up side down by Perry! Maybe now that women across this country see they are not alone these laws will be challenged and over turned. Nancebell, I have signed so many petitions on CARE also. We need to get someone to add the language I mention. It fits all criteria of abuse of a human being. The humiliation is enough to push some one to suicide. Until now I don"t think our eyes were open to what the movement against women was. It had never been really defined till now !!! Ted, What we have entered is awful. Are you watching Lawrence O Donnell? The death of so many dependents, children and Marines with cancers on Military base if unforgivable. Its not the first time. Since you go by Psalm 82, you'll know what I mean when I say that this primary is beginning to be like Hebrews 13:8. (no disrespect intended) The reason I know that, my Scottish mother was very frugal and one night at dinner, she served left-over roast for the third time. My dad, who was very funny, said, "Well, it's about time to say grace!' My mother was floored, but said, "Please do!" He looked around at the food and said, "Hebrews 13:8", then began to eat. After dinner I looked it up and had a good laugh as did my mother, I'm sure.
